What is a DCP?
A Digital Cinema Package (DCP) is a collection of digital files used to store and convey digital cinema (DC) audio, image, and data streams. The term has been defined by Digital Cinema Initiatives, LLC in their recommendations for packaging of DC contents. DCP‘s are often requested by film festivals if your film is selected, this usually depends upon the cinema that is going to be screening the film and the equipment they have available.
We offer a specialist service to convert your video files to DCP (Digital Cinema Package), including testing of your film on our cinema equipment. All testing is done on 100% DCI Compliant digital Cinema Equipment (Barco DP2k-12c projector, Dolby DSS200 Server, Dolby CP750 sound processor).

DCP conversions can only be completed on material to which you have license granted, or are the original copyright holder. It is up to the content creator, owner or intended playback venue to seek BBFC certification for any and all content for playback to the General Public. HOW MUCH DOES A DCP COST?
The cost of producing a DCP varies and can run in to the thousands with some suppliers, however we offer an extremely competitive rate to support filmmakers and other festivals, with Rebel Members receiving an exclusive discount.
